It is a great pleasure to invite you to the third International Symposium on “3D Virtual Diagnosis and Treatment Planning of Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Deformity”. After the very successful meetings in 2006 and 2008 in Bruges, Belgium, the 3D Facial Imaging Research Group (3D-FIRG) proudly presents the third edition, which will be held in March 2010 in the Evoluon World Class Conference Centre in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.

This symposium will focus on the current status and future aspects of the dynamic research area of three-dimensional imaging. Internationally known experts will present the current status and likely future developments in all aspects of this field, including 3D acquisition of the facial soft tissues, bony structures and the dentition. A variety of (hands-on) workshops with limited attendance will offer the participants great opportunities to get in touch with new 3D-technologies. We also welcome abstract submissions for posters and oral presentations.

The Organizing Committee extends a warm welcome to dentists, orthodontists, maxillofacial surgeons, ENT-surgeons, plastic surgeons as well as craniofacial radiologists to join this premier scientific event.
